QRZ! This is GM0ONX

My name is Leonard John Paget, Len to everyone who knows me. I am a '1956 model' Scotsman from Kilmarnock in Ayrshire, South West Scotland. I am married to May and we have four grown up children, Alan, Susan, Stephen and Lyndsey (MM3ONX). By profession I am a Principal Engineer employed by East Ayrshire Council and I am responsible for the running of  the Council's  Lighting  Section (If it has electricity in or near the Highway we look after it).

I was first licensed in 1982 as GM6JIC and after much pressure from my fellow amateurs finally got round to sitting the morse test 1991 and became GM0ONX.

I am currently Chairman of the RSGB’s Planning Advisory Committee.  I am also the RSGB's Deputy Regional Manager for District 13, Foundation License Instructor and Exam Secretary for the Intermediate and Advanced exam courses run by the Kilmarnock and Loudoun Amateur Radio Club (www.klarc.org)

Believe it or not I still have time for Amateur Radio and my main interests are homebrew construction, HF and VHF operating and I am an occasional writer for Practical Wireless magazine.

If you need a QSL, I QSL via the buro, Logbook of the World or direct if you supply 1 IRC and SAE. My Address is:-

Len Paget GM0ONX,
